Thanks Derek, this is a very useful feedback, do you have a link with the branch fixes?
I’ll see if I can use them on RaspyFi. Do you use nas? If not, fat 32 or ntfs?

Feedback: am getting pops and glitches with 24-bit music. Also, when using the CM6631 receiver(Bifrost) there is complete distortion when switching from a 16-bit song to a 24-bit song. or vice versa. Same pops and glitches on UDAC-2.

I also use an Alix board with Voyage MPD and this complete distortion was an issue with the 6631. There was a fix in a new release of Voyage MPD – the daily build for sure uses the 3.8.5 kernel and this solved the issue. Not sure that’s of any help to you but, in the spirit of ‘the more info the better’…..
But, thanks for releasing the Beta and keep up the good work.

I’m not keen on the idea of truncating an image to fit – maybe OK if you know for sure that there is no data/software in the bit that would be missed, but as at best going to lead to addressing errors at some point, or at worst significant software problems

Image Size Issues

if u download and use USB image tool from here
http://www.alexpage.de/usb-image-tool/download/

make sure your are restoring to the correct drive

goto the tab options, now i cant rem if u need both ignore size checks for gzip and truncate oversized images or just the second one, try it and see. i just ticked both and it worked for me. Hit restore n should work

My 4GB SD card seems just a few sectors too small to fit the image. I had no problem with the RC2 image! What to do now? Is it possible to create a smaller image?

I’ve got the same problem as Maximum – won’t fit on my brand new kingston 4gb card bought specifically to try the beta

H2testw shows card as 3715MByte, 1.0 beta image file is 3790MByte
