What you want in Rc3? I'm currently doing it, so this is the time to ask!
I place mine:
-FAT32 AND NTFS SUPPORT
-SPOTIFY SUPPORT
-HIFACE NATIVE SUPPORT
-I2S DRIVER INSTALLED (you will found out why…)
-KERNEL HEADERS INCLUDED
What else?
Internet radio, hi res file support, ALAC support. Does not seem to load all the albums on my NAS (I know it does not currently load ALAC) but I've noticed this with Voyage MPD as well.
Great work so far, can't wait for the next release!

Adding good suggestions by derek!
ALAC SUPPORT (gotta investigate if there are no issues with this…)
INTERNET RADIO SUPPORT
As for hi res, RaspyFi can read every bitrate and bitdepth, unfortunately it has to resample. This is for the usb problems of the raspberry…
Would be great if you could support berryboot…
So you have to buy only one raspberry pi for many solutions
PS: Is there a samba client in raspyfi included?
I will investigate the possibility to use berryboot…
Yeah, RaspyFi has samba support integrated. More info here:

Wish List
- Logitech Media server(LMS)
- Option of enabling/Disabling HDMI out
- Pandora Support (this comes with LMS)
Many thanks!
Wish List
- Logitech Media server(LMS)
We are not going to support LMS, as its quite unconfortable to have a server and a receiver… We are about simplicity…
- Option of enabling/Disabling HDMI out
That's a good idea! We'll do that!
- Pandora Support (this comes with LMS)
As above…

Wish LIST
- Add UTF-8 file name support for USB stick
Currently every files were recognized as ascii characters and have problem when file name was UTF-8 such as Japanese songs.
I added a line
FS_MOUNTOPTIONS="-fstype=vfat,utf8 -fstype=fat,utf8"
to /etc/usbmount/usbmount.conf and successfully recognized.
This was written in VoyageMPD document at 5.4 MPD client software cannot show Japanese characters correctly.
You can check this document as below:

Thanks! Really useful, I'll add to the 1.0!
Any ETA on the RC3 with all the beta version goodies?

Kind of a big request…… maybe use mopidy instead of MPD? This gets you spotify support, and some limited google play music support.

Well I think this little peace of software really does it. RC2 outputs the sound with greater quality using my BRIK DAC than outputting the sound through my MacBook Pro using the same DAC. Personally I don't see why you would need mopidy when all Spotify does is compressing the sound.
I think you should keep it the way it is, awesome, fast, simple. Go with:
- MPD
- No bootberry
RC2 fires up real quick and with all the the genorous build guides offered on this website makes the software rock. It's way better than any ZP90 which doesn't even provide support for connecting your USB DAC.
Thank you for giving us all this to play with for free
