Is it possible to install a small Webserver lighttp and Samba on the raspyfi distro?
The Webserver for cover Display and Samba for loading the usb-Drive with musicdata via network.
Peterlicht.
Yes, it's possible. There's already a webserver, nginx. If you're using the 1.0 beta you should be able to see cover arts.
And yes, you can install a samba server, but it will degrade musical performaces, 'cause overloading the usb/ethernet bus results in audio stuttering.

With mpad i can't See coverart.
Do i have to change something in the nginx-conf? Symlink to the musicdir? Rights?
I use the 1.0 Beta.

good evening
It is the first time I write here on the forum.
I'm sorry for my English but I don't know him very well.
do I just a question.
I have the latest version of raspyfi, I have installed a 1 TB HD via USB and I need to save my music files from a computer on my home network.
is already present samba on raspyfi. I have the SMB.conf configured so that it is visible the folder music of my HD.
everything works perfectly but when I go to restart the raspyfi the SMB.conf value returned by default.
Thanks for the reply.
