Hi there!
Lately I've been trying to turn my raspberry PI into a mp3 player, to go with my USB headset. I chose raspify as it's OS, and I now have it autoconnect to my wifi hotspot on my phone upon boot, so that I can control it via that. Now that works via a wifi dongle, which takes up one usb port. The other usb port is taken up by my USB headset. That leaves me with no room to insert a usb drive with music on it.
I first considered a small non powered USB hub, but both my headset and wifi dongle will suck too much power for another usb stick to be attatched, so that's not an option. I tried to set up an SMB server on my phone (android), but I couldn't seem to attatch raspyfi to that. wasn't able to succeed. Now my SD card raspyfi runs on has plenty of storage. It would be ideal for me to store my music on there, via sftp. The thing is though, that there doesn't seem to be ANY option for raspyfi to read those files. I was thinking of maybe having the music folder auto mount as a virtual usb stick, but I don't even know if that's is possible, and even if it is, how.
Any suggestions/ideas, what I can do about this? I can't use a powered hub, because the project needs to be portable.
Thanks a bunch!
