In the beta version, after i successfully installed and got the wifi working, it worked till a reboot. Once rebooted, the network defaults to wired or if wired cable is not available, it does not default to wifi. Do I need to add something to the init.d to make wifi work on reboots ? Thanks
No, just launch wicd-curses as sudo
sudo wicd-curses
and remember to save your settings by doing F10! Let me know!
I saved the settings using F10, however no progress. When I boot (re-boot) the Pi, this is the msg I get
(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready
I have to then physically remove and re-plug the LAN cable to get the network going (via Lan).
