Hi,
I'm just getting my hardware sorted out – Topping VX1 DAC/AMP and probably going to pick up some JBL Control 1 (or pro) speakers.
In the mean time, I want to sort out my music files / library. Beets is encouraged on the Raspyfi site, and I wanted to ask what the main purpose of beets is when used with Raspyfi…
Is it to fix ID3 tags / filenames / artwork / folder structure etc. so that Raspyfi can import it more easily?
Is it to build a Beets library that can then be utilised by Raspyfi?
It would be good to know what I'm aiming for …. if it's the second option, I'll probably not worry about fixing filenames etc.
Any help appreciated.
