It is plugged into the Rpi via a powered hub and is formatted to fat32 (I've tried various file formats).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well I've sorted it kind of. I have a small 512mb usb that's detected, I just need to find a bigger one now or work out a share from my server.
