I've installed raspyfi on to a 4gb sd card, and fired it up in a 256mb raspberry pi, connected to a TV via HDMI, and to the network via a wired network connection. I've also plugged in my MP3 player as a music source (it identifies as a USB flash drive). The web UI opens up OK, and I can play radio streams, however;
1: The USB drive does not auto-mount; I have to mount it manually on each boot, restart MPD, and refresh the database before the music comes up.
2: When I try and play music from the drive, it plays the first coupple of seconds, and then the entire system crashes. It appears to be failing when it tries to buffer whilst playing, as altering the length of the starting buffer alters the length of play before crashing.
3: I can't get WiFi to work on it. I'm using a TPlink TL-WN723N. I've tried setting it up using the webUI (the option to do this dissapears after the first boot), Wicd-curses (this doesn't appear to be installed) and editing the network config file (this had no effect). I suspect that the version of raspbian doesn't work properly with it, as it doesn't work with the default raspbian distrobution, and Raspyfi is based on that. However, it does work with pibang out of the box. The only differences I can see that may have any effect are the method of setup (used the tint2 panel) and the init system (systemD rather than sysV init) (I don't know what the init system is, or if it can be altered, so this is just a guess). I tried installing openbox and tint2 in order to set it up, however this led to another problem;
4: I can't seem to install any software. There doesn't seem to be any repositories, and I can't seem to add any using apt-add repository.

I want to get this working, as I like the setup, but it seems to be throwing up quite a few problems. If anyone knows how to sort any of these problems, I'd be grateful.
