I have a version 1 RPi model B with RaspyFi 1.0 loaded. It has taken a day to get wifi working with a 802.11n dongle but finally got there. However, playback is nasty from my Iomega IX2 NAS. Very choppy indeed. I tried cable connection but am still getting stuttering there, so not network speed related.
From trawling the forum the only thing that seems possible to try is wsize and rsize. Making them both 1024 improves for a while but then there will a 15sec pause. Making them large doesn't seem to change much. Has anyone got suggestions for the rsize and wsize values? Same goes for the MPD buffer settings which I have set at 4096 and 30%.
