RaspyFi cannot handle files or folders with special characters on my external hdd? Hdd is Fat32, if it matters. As far as I know RaspyFi uses UTF-8 and should be able to handle special chars, right?
Some folders and files that were already on my hdd when I connected are now renamed to strange names. For example the albumfolder 'Ænima' by Tool is renamed to '_F81RN~A'. Same for the track '02 – Ænima.mp3', the file is renamed to '1L9FMC~M.mp3'.
Because of this I also cannot copy files/folders with special characters to the Pi through the network. Error I get is that the source files is too big for the system. With José James this was easy to fix by just replacing the 'é' for a normal 'e', but for some of the Scandinavian artists in my library that is going to be a problem.

I've got this problem as well; a lot of my music includes Scandinavian or cyrillic characters. Any work-around possible? I really like Raspyfi otherwise, but this is something of a deal-breaker.
I couldn't believe I would be the only one experiencing this.
Would be nice to see a workaround for this, I have a lot of new albums that I cannot copy to the Pi now without powering off the Pi, connecting the HDD to my laptop and reconnecting it to the Pi.
