Hi,
Finally done setting up RaspyFi v1.0 with my qnap ts212. However I found that streaming music from NAS results in extremely "noisy" sound output. Constant 'pop', flicker sound, and buzz sound. However when I play the exact file from USB, the sound is flawless. Is streaming from NAS for RaspyFi functionable but not useable? Or am I missing something/patch.
EDIT:
DAC is Corda StageDAC with Burr-Brown's PCM2704 USB-to-S/PDIF receiver and two Wolfson WM8741 operating in dual mono mode for D/A conversion. I guess you can add this dac to the support list.
NAS stream is actually our weak point, we're addressing this thanks to the feedbacks you are providing us…

Have you tried setting the 'rsize' to 4096? That got rid of all the popping and stuttering when playing from a NAS in my case.

Hi, I had to set rsize to 16384 to have less crack (now only sporadic / very rare)
Thank you for the RaspyFi! Fantastic interface!

I had my "I can't believe I forgot that" moment an hour ago.
I realized that I had the DAC hooked up through a hub and not directly.
"Fixing" my dumb mistake cleared up all my issues with audio artifacts.
FLAC, MP3, Apple Loseless from Server
and
AirPlay from iPhone5
I just wished I'd remember that I had changed that around when I was doing some testing earlier this week.
