I bought the SABRE DAC however not with Tenor USB chip but with SA9023. And unfortunately it does not work. It is recognized as USB card but playing anything results in usb_set_interface failed (-32). Trying to play from console (aplay) results in aplay: set_params:1145: Unable to install hw params:

The Dac is recognized and listed in "aplay -l". Problems start when I try to play something to it.

The Dac is plugged directly into PI. Powersupply is 1A microUSB. I have a HDD plugged as well, but power to it is taken from an independent source (only data on RPi USB port)

I guess it boils down to the fact that this revision uses different usb receiver, but does anyone know whether it can be fixed. I cannot return it or exchange for the one with Tenor chip.
