I am trying to install RaspyFI on a brand new Raspberry B+ and I get the non-boot problem mentioned earlier in this thread. I saw that some kind poster had a link to some files that we should copy to our SD boot card. Unfortunately this link is now broken, anyone got any idea where I can now find these updates.

RaspyFi worked great with my old Raspi but didn't boot with my new one.
After replacing the three *.elf files my new Raspy boot now also !

Ok, after a fairly frustrating couple of days(all of it my errors)I can report that Raspyfi booted and works right the first time. Good job on this Distro. It seems pretty intuitive and so far it sounds great over Webradio and Airplay(I'm trouble shooting my USB drive tonight.)

I'm looking to try Raspyfi tonight. I just got my RPI this weekend and I'm betting it has the new, not-so-compatible ram in it. So am I correct in assuming that there hasn't been a new image with the fix installed put up yet? Should I be prepared to implement Blueberry's fix? The reason I ask is this is my first foray into Linux and I'm still a little fuzzy on altering the command line. I'll be flashing this on a Mac if that matters.

Blueberry, you made my day. Have been struggling to get img writes to SD card for a day. Replacing the ".elf. files fixed my issues and RaspyFI and other img's now work great. Before I could only get NOOBS and XBIAN to run.

Edit: OK, so I don't get a prompt on the default console, but it actually boots up fine and I can SSH into it… *facepalm*
So, edit /etc/inittab and change line:

#T0:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyS1 9600 vt100

T0:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyAMA0 115200 vt100

To enable terminal input via console cable.

Well, seems I was too fast with my conclusions.
Even though I can now see what's going on through the console, RaspyFi won't boot.
Last line in the bootsequence is the knfsd init followed by "bcm2835-cpufreq: switching to governor ondemand" (after some time).
I just tested raspbian, just to make sure it's not my card, and it boots up fine in a matter of around 10-15 seconds.

RaspberryPi B, without any extras and a class 10 16GB Transcend SD card. Only cable coming out of the Pi is a USB-to-TTL cable connected to the GPIO pins, which powers the device (and is used to access the terminal).

I wish I could report success, but unfortunately I am having the same problem with Raspy Fi v1.0 - my SD will not boot.

I have downloaded the image twice, and ran md5sum on both. It returned the same hash.

I have followed the instructions and written images to three different cards, all class 10 Sandisk Ultra or Transcends. In each case I have also copied the .elf files as posted earlier, both from the aforementioned link and from the latest Raspian Wheezy.

The CD still won't boot. All other images I have tried boot successfuly.

Any ideas what else I might do?

On my XP, my computer recognizes the SD card, but cant open it. (It says format the SD card before use.)
On my Windows7, I can open the SD card, but I cannot write to/delete from the SD card... maybe because I dont have the admin priv, but its not my computer, so I cant help it...

Had no action at all. Replaced files as above. RaspyFi now works out of audio jack.

Can't get anything out of USB DAC; HIFiMeDIY USB DAC. Would love to have solution for this.
