Ok, so I can add another format which is non working to the list: aac (.m4a)
So I'm looking very much forward to your next release which will hopefully support aac, mpc and ape

Newbie here!
Everything seems to be working: NAS, getting the system to play internet radio streams, etc – Great work!!
I can't however seem to get the Pi to stay on a static IP. It seems that DHCP always "wins" for some reason. I have done the "sudo wicd-curses" and set the proper parameters and saved it via F10; the parameters work: when I use "C" to select the configuration. -- however -- the next time the Pi boots, it's back on DHCP!
Any ideas what I might have missed?
Thanks!!
edit /etc/network/interfaces as follows
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.desired ip
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.gateway ip (your routers ip)
Let me know!
I'm using an Aune T1 USB tube DAC/headphone amp with the raspyfi and I have two problems:
1. If I turn the DAC off and then back on music playback stutters severly with about 1/2 second of play then 1/2 second gap, then repeat. The cpu load goes above 1.0 until I reboot the raspi to solve the problem--which leads me to problem 2.
2. My NAS share isn't auto mounted. It's in fstab but I have to run, "sudo mount -a" to get it mounted. Any way to fix this automount issue?
Thanks in advance,
Rob
