First of all, I have to say that you have done a very good job with Raspyfi.
Currently I am testing around a little bit with a Pi I usally use with Openelec and as soon as the following issue is solved, I am planning to get another one to only use with Raspyfi.
Here' s the problem:
Whenever a file is being played and I manually select a different one to play immediately, raspyfi stops playing for a second. After that it repeats the last 2 seconds of the stopped track, stops again and finally starts playing the new song. This s a bit annoying.
On the contrary, gapless playback works perfectly when queued files are being played.
I don' know if it's important to know to solve this, but I am using a FAT32 HDD as data source connected to USB and the HDMI output.
I'd be thankful if someone can point me into the right direction…

Also experiencing the same issue. Using a network share to stream song files. Queued transitions to songs is perfect, manually switching songs however leads to the last couple seconds of the previous song repeating briefly. HDMI output as well, to a sound bar (also tested to an HDMI TV, same results).
