Hi All,
Nice work with RaspyFi 10betatest. Sounds sweet!
I can report very good success with the Aune T1 Dac. Seagate Central NAS with attached USB storage is all fine. MPD took a bit of work but it came good.
The only real issue I am having is :
- Many clicks and pops at 96kHz. Unlistenable – I don't want to downsample. Has anyone found a good answer for this? Can you share the ALSA settings?
- Also the hardware volume control on the Aune is not working.
Let me know your thoughts on the above.
Thanks!
I think this already comes installed with the 10betatest.img I think the RPi is cool but not quite there yet with it's implementation of USB.
I'm also looking at some other linux options like AudiophileLinux or Daphile.
MPD server is awesome.

Did this fix helped you out with the 'crackling'-problem?
All my 24/96 files are played with humps and crackling
USB audio fix is already implemented in the 1.0… Have you edited your auto.nas as mentioned in the Betatest thread? If no, this will solve your problem…

Yes, i use the beta version with updated settings. MPD plays ok with 16bit music, 24bit is 90% ok and 10% cracks Setup with Cambridge Audio DAC Magic and Pi connected with USB to the DAC.
Ramplay option is superb!! But limited space, so only for demo's
