Hi,
Could you show me the way how you get this working ?
Karsten

Hi,
first of all I stopped windows (SAMBA) sharing on the NAS and activated NFS sharing, with 32kB resize&wsize. I also created a new user, to give him the NFS required privileges to access the directory containing my music. I used the Raspy user (pi).
Then, from the RaspyFi webui I deleted all database connections that I made before (when SAMBA was active).
Last operation: via SSH, I gave the command:
sudo mount -o nolock -o rsize=32768 -o wsize=32768 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:/YourMusicPath /mnt/NAS
where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:/YourMusicPath is the IP address of your NAS followed by YourMusicPath, which is the path to the directory containing your music.
I've found in the forum all the infos (here: http://www.raspyfi.com/forum/w.....o-the-gui/ and here: http://www.raspyfi.com/forum/r.....s-support/).

I think you have to repeat the shell command every time you reboot, but I didn't try to setup an auto-mount during Raspi startup yet.....

Update!
I have connect to Behringer UCA202 and a mini Patriot wireless together and play perfect without any powered AC adapter.

First of all I would like to thank you for the great project. Really amazing.
Next some questions Smile
Everything is working ok with my HiFimeDIY Sabre USB DAC (SA9023, not async) provided that I stay on 16bit/44.1kHz.
If I try to go up to 24bit there are occasional crackling and glitches that are not acceptable for an HiFi setup. Sometimes playback stops and restarts after some seconds.
I tried USB fix even if I am working with Raspyfi V1.0 (the most recent, I think), but nothing changes. I am playing FLAC files stored on a Synology NAS (flawlessly mounted).
Any idea how to solve the problem ?

Thanks !

UPDATE: I switched to NFS and put a giant rsize,wsize=32768. Now there are VERY FEW glitches and pops at 24bit/96kHz. Still not perfect, but coming closer ! Wink
Don't know if it is the right way to go....
