When I try to add a playlist I get a message "Playlist support in MPD is not working …"
I have been messing a little with different mount points, but apart from the playlist issue everything works fine.
Am I the only one with this problem?

So, probably you messed up something… You need write permissions with your library to edit the playlist!

And can you please tell me how to set the permission? my Music lies at /mnt/nas…
sudo chmod -R 777 /mnt/nas
But I suggest you to reflash your sd with a fresh install… Since I don't know what you did, I cannot tell you the right things to do… Also, playlist files are in a different path… Which version are you using?

Hello,
I have the same error message, not sure if the cause is the same. When trying to add playlist (I'm using Gnome gmp client for that – is there a way to do it through the raspyfi http interface?), I get the error
"Playlist support in MPD is not working. See the manual on possible fixes. Playlist editor and favorites are now disabled".
Can't find anything of interest in the client manual. However it seems that only files loaded through a m3u file playlist can't be added in MPD playlist in this way. It works well when I select files directly from the filesystem browser and add them to a playlist. Anyway I'd like to convert my m3u files into MPD playlists, don't know how.
PS: changing file permissions doesn't fix the issue.
