I tried differents HDMI input and I just realized that the volume was not enough.
I take control of RaspiFy through my Android with MPDroid.
I had to increase the volume to 80% to start hearing something.
Anyway, It works.
Thank you all.
For me hdmi audio worked out of the box - no change in pi required.
I'm not skilled in the area but
* does your amp support audio via hdmi
* setting in the amp (source)In my amp I can set differnt audio inputs (hdmi/spdif/..) per source

]]>I'm new in the Raspberry world and I started by installing RaspyFi.
It works very well!
Now, I just want to link my Raspberry to my amplifier (Pioneer VSX-527).
Is there a way to link it without an USB DAC? Directly by the HDMI?
My amplifier has already a DAC 192/24 and I would like to avoid any extra purchase if possible.
I've already tried to force to use the HDMI output by typing "amixer cset numid=3 2" in root, but it didn't worked.
Any idea?
Thank you.
