That's the clue.
pi@Raspyfi:~$ amixer set 'XMOS Clock Selector' unmute on
did the job Smile

I'm wondering why all channels are muted by default?

Front Left: Playback 127 [100%] [0.00dB] [off]
Front Right: Playback 127 [100%] [0.00dB] [off]

means that the output is muted. I am to tired to look it up right now but if you google a bit you should be able to find how to unmute it.

I bought this DAC (In case XMOS+ES9023 Asynchronous I2S USB to fiber coaxial 192K-24BIT USB power)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBa.....0948481228
but I have no sound on any output, even though everything looks OK.
DAC is OK works perfect under Windows.

This is my config.....
