Hi,
I bought this DAC (In case XMOS+ES9023 Asynchronous I2S USB to fiber coaxial 192K-24BIT USB power)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBa…..0948481228
but I have no sound on any output, even though everything looks OK.
DAC is OK works perfect under Windows.
This is my config…..

Any tips
I think that the [off] in these lines;
Front Left: Playback 127 [100%] [0.00dB] [off]
Front Right: Playback 127 [100%] [0.00dB] [off]
means that the output is muted. I am to tired to look it up right now but if you google a bit you should be able to find how to unmute it.
Thank You. That's the clue.
[email protected]:~$ amixer set 'XMOS Clock Selector' unmute on
did the job
I'm wondering why all channels are muted by default?
It happened to me with XMOS when I was running voyage MPD on an Alix board but on Raspyfi I have not had this probem.
Hello
Sorry for off topic ( maybe you private message is disabled )
I bought the same DAC and It works fine with mac without any drivers but on windows a driver is needed .

Thank you a lot
