I have been looking into the new Gui to fiind where I can add my own radiostreams. The gui points it should be in the webgui settings, but I somehow I am unable to find them….
Have been using The mpdroid with the beta to add streams, but this doesnt work either.
If you find RaspyFi on the network, it should contain two folders, choose the one that isn't Ramplay and it should contain lots of radio stream playlists, you can add any that you want to there.

Do you mean in the webgui or in the commandline (ssh)? I think I misunderstood these instructions:
-WebRadio Support built on the WEBUI, with some selected Radios already built in. Want to add a WebRadio? Easy! Just go on Network, you’ll find the RaspyFi share. Go to the WebRadio folder and paste your .pls or .m3u radio playlist there! To have a .m3u or .pls radio station file, simply open a blank document, paste the webradio url and save it with .pls extension.

Of you're using windows – open My Computer, then in the address bar type \\raspyfi\ . It will show you two folders: RAMPLAY and WEBRADIO where the .pls files are located.
Nothing shows in my network from windows. Can you tell us where in the directory structure on the pi these pls files are located.

I tried copy/pasting the .pls files from my windows box to the folder. However, after copying, I cant seem to play the file. I went to /var/lib/mpd/music/WEBRADIO to see if it shows up, it does. But it comes up in green color, as against white (for all other radio streams). Is there something I am doing wrong? Changing permissions maybe ? Thanks
Take one of the original pls , open in notepad and do the same with the ones you uploaded. They should be on the same format…

Does not work
This is the stream I am trying to add.
There must be a cache, or something. What are the steps to adding a .PLS file to the list? I've added a .pls to the network share folder.
It shows up in the browse list. It doesn't play, all the included ones ply fine.
I've rebooted the device. Do I have to do a database refresh? If it does, there should be a "Database was last successfully updated ", or progress bar.
What's the right way to do that?
This what's in my .pls file…
[playlist]
NumberOfEntries=1
File1=http://7659.live.streamtheworld.com:80/977_80AAC_SC
Title1=977 The 80s Channel – 977MUSICCOM
That link works in winamp, so it's good. Maybe put a step by step.

It seems that the format of this webradio is not supported, I did try only with shoutcast protocol… Try to see if you can find this station in shoutcast …
Hello! I just find out how to add web radios in RaspyFi. Just spended 2 hours on this to find the solution…
First you'll need VLC to open the .pls address. (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/)
When the link is open into VLC, right click on the address (won't be .pls) and copy-paste it in the notepad that you'll edit and place in the raspyfi folder.
That is!
Some of you seems to have difficulties to access the webradio folder… So just open a new window and in the address bar, put the IP address of your Raspberry Pi like this : \\192.168.1.X120 (Replace 192.168.1.120 by your address…)
The folders will appear.
Place your notepad file(save as .pls) in the right folder.
It's working for me!
Hope you understand my english, I'm french canadian. english is my second language
Hope this will helpe you =)
