One radio station looks as tho it isplaying something but no sound. Surely I can't be the only one with this issue. Burnt the img again. Two different Pis, two different SD cards. SAme issue. No sound. It's very odd and a little frustrating.

I had the same problem when both HDMI and USB (teralink USB to SPDIF) were plugged in at the same time.

StephenR on Doesn't Play http://www.raspyfi.com/forum/raspyfi-install-and-troubleshooting/doesnt-play/#p1290 RaspyFi install and troubleshooting http://www.raspyfi.com/forum/raspyfi-install-and-troubleshooting/doesnt-play/#p1290 Hi,

Downloaded image, unzipped and burnt to SD card. Plug in new Pi, tunes on USB stick, fire up windows gui. Can see USB stick tunes. Can see internet radio stations. Add item to playlist but nothing plays. For tunes on USB stick, the progress circle thing doesn't move. Can place it further into a tune, still no progress and no sound through either a USB DAC or headphone output.

I've seached everywhere I can think of for a fix with no luck.

Do I have to apply some fix? If so, how do I log into the Pi via something like PuTTY.

I was hoping that I could use RaspyFi with my USB DAC. Had no luck with Squeezeplug Squeezelite player (worked through headphone socket only) and exactly the same with PiCorePlayer. On two seperate Pis - one from the first batch, the second only received today.

any help appreciated.

cheers,

Stephen
