I have the same problem.
I prefer to boot from USB (sda3) as I have found that SD cards have a hard time standing up to the read/write cycles.
Every time I use the Web UI to restart or shut down my RaspyFi, the cmdline.txt gets reverted to the default.

Hi,
we are working on the introduction of an advanced mode configuration to handle these cases.
I hope it will be ready for the upcoming release.

insert your parameter both in /boot/cmdline.txt and /var/www/_OS_SETTINGS/boot/cmdline.txt
Reboot and it will not overwrite your cmdline.
Hope it helps.

Simone.

However, I seem to have a problem that I didn't in the 1.0 beta or rc2. In all versions I've needed to add dwc_otg.speed=1 to the end of cmdline.txt in /boot for my Behringer UCA202 to play without skipping. In 1.0 this change seems to revert on reboot. If I add it and reboot once, I can see that it has taken effect with dmesg. If I view cmdline.txt at this point, my changes are gone. If I reboot again, USB 2.0 speed takes effect and I suffer audio problems until I make the change and reboot again. How can I make the change permanent? Thanks!
