Hello
I'm all new to PI and Linux, but have manage to get the PI started with the image 1.0 of RaspyFi, but can not seem to get past the line:
[email protected]:~$ [120.723465] bcm2835-cpufreq: switching to governor ondemand. I got two lines of this text.
I'v been waiting and waiting for it to finish, but no luck.
Please help
Regards

Terje,
there should be some communication flaw in this website… Go here: http://www.raspyfi.com/raspyfi…..art-guide/
You use RaspyFi as an headless player. You don't need to pass that screen. Just grab your PC or your phone and point your browser to raspyfi.local/ or your raspberry ip. You control and configure it from there
bye
Ok, thanks so much!
My goal is to stream wimp or Spotify from my Samung Tab 7.7 with Android 4.0.4 or Sony Xperia Z1 with Android 4.2.2.
I would like to connect to my Surround Receiver with the 3.5 mm jack until I get an Usb DAC and use my android device as a screen and remote. I have both Lan an WiFi connected.
Is this doable for an nob, maybe it's a step by step tutorial out there?
Regards
Terje
Perfectly doable.
First, connect ONLY the jack to your receiver, don't connect the HDMI to anything (even your tv, anything). And power up the pi.
Then, Just download an airplay app for android. And select RaspyFi as airplay device.
Done. Let me know how it goes. I think you should need no more than 10 minutes to do so. Let me know
Thanks again
I will look into this tomorrow, my local time now is 3.58.
Any preferable airplay app?
Good night, and thanks again, this will be fun tomorrow!

Hello
So I got connected on Wifi following your guides here, but how can I test the connection, any command I can key in? I see the blue led are on and sometimes flash.
I'v been looking for an app to airplay fro Android tab, but doesn't seem to find the right app, can I get some more help o this please?
Do I need to install the mdroid to, an what are best of Amdroid and mdroid? I have installed the mdroid, but the settings was all Greek to me?
And I really get confused about all this SSH connection, is this connection true a web browser, really nob on this?
And probably a dump question, but can I connect the pi to the router with cat5 and still connect my android device wireless to the PI via the router, or has it all to be wireless?
Terje
