I'm having trouble streaming audio over airplay using TuneBlade on windows. The software does find the Raspyfi but immediately disconnects when trying to connect. The log file from TuneBlade:

1- Stop all other playbacks on raspyfi
2- Try with different file format
3- Works with iTunes, could be tuneblade issue…
Let me know

1- I tried setting up Airplay after fresh reboot of raspberry
2- TuneBlade streams windows system-wide audio, I dont think I have control over the file format.
3- iTunes does work perfectly! Unfortunately, I hate apple Also the watch video with in sync airplay audio on seemed really nice. I'll go looking for other windows airplay software, maybe I'll try the rogue amoemba airfoil.
UPDATE: amoemba airfoil works as well.
Hi from TuneBlade!
Whoops! Sorry, TuneBlade was unable to stream to RaspyFi. TuneBlade has been tested to work with other AirPort Express emulating software including Shairport4w, XBMC, AirServer and AirBubble.
Analyzing the posted log, the problem is due to missing server port number in response to setup request. As iTunes and Airfoil do stream, we assume the default port number (6000) has to be used. Adding this condition in TuneBlade should solve the connection problem.
We have placed an order for a Raspberry PI to test it before releasing an update. I'll keep this thread posted.
We are pleased to announce that the latest version of TuneBlade (0.9.9.0) can connect with RaspyFi! Give it a try and let us know your feedback.
Hi admin, Thanks for offering your help. There was a minor issue at our end, and has been fixed.
Congratulations on this awesome project!

Wow, amazing support from both RaspyFi and Tuneblade! I can now watch movies on my laptop with audio in sync through raspify -> dac -> amplifier. Great work, when I come across any issues I'll let you know.

Hi people!
since I have seen the post from Tuneblade, I wanted to drop a quick note! For some 3-4 days I have been trying to find a software to stream to B&W zeppelin. I have made some progress with airfoil but did not turn out well. Using the airfoil I can stream to airzeppelin only some 6-7 seconds and than the signal interrupts. By observing CPU, Ram, Catche etc. I have noticed that the memo usage jumps high once I stream to Zeppelin. If I stream to some other source (I ve tried to stream to my samsung s3 just to test) I did not have the same problem. Anyways, finally yesterday I have (almost accidentally) discovered tuneblade and did not hesitate a second to purchase for the license since it worked out very well for me. Thanks for this great, little software you've created! =)
Here is my question; when should we wait for an android version? Or should we wait for it at all?
Thanks in advance for your answer!
Cheers!

Hi beatthesht,
We are glad you liked TuneBlade!
Unfortunately, we do not have any near term plans to port TuneBlade on Android.
Cheers!

I've been running Airfoil for a few months now…and while it does what it promises very well, I notice up to a second lag between some rooms in my house. This gets pretty annoying..
Does TuneBlade work that much better than Airfoil? I've paid for Airfoil, but if Tuneblade is that much better, I will buy it too…
