I am trying to use a 1TB partition of a 3TB drive as my music directory/database. It is currently formatted as NTFS. Should I change that to FAT32?
What is the best way to connect it. It is currently connected to an ASUS router. How do I get mpd to recognize it as the source for music files? Should I make the drive a fixed IP address and insert that into the mpd.conf file?
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, you should, if you can. 1.0 will include ntfs support, but the best choice is fat32.
