Hi,
I would like to know something about this new project – http://volumio.org/ – I assume your the author of the site
I have a Raspberry Pi and a Cubox and I would like to use the porting of Raspyfi on it.
Please, tell us when the site will be effective!!!
See you
Samar
Well, I planned to use Xmas holidays to solder an LCD display for my Raspyfi … It seems I'll have to steal some more time to try Volumio.
Great news! I hope the new Ui will still match my bathroom's tiles

Hmmm, 15 min. later. Where is the evolution for the raspberry owners? Can't really see the difference.
And again no spotify support.

Okay – back to raspyfi.
Crackles all over the time on usb output. HDMI works perfect.
It's a beta1 – I know.

C'mon Karsten, the glass is half-full!!! In my setup I had no glitches whatsoever ( at 24/192 with an async DAC, which is the worst case scenario). Just try to decrease rsize and wsize on NAS settings… Or otherwise let me know..

Is volumio taking off from where raspyfi left or will both evolve simultaneously ?
The first one you said. You can see Volumio as a RaspyFi 1.1, but on more platforms and with more features (aka i2s DAC support, multiroom etc).
So you guys will still be at home on Volumio.
so, just download, put on an SD card and set up like raspyfi?
I've not been in here much as I've simply been using raspyfi to play music ( when it works, leave it alone), but I'll try this when I get home tomorrow

Hi Michelangelo,
This was no critic !
But installing raspyfi without any tweak had no problems with my async dac (Music Fidelity M1). Worked out of the box.
Did the same with volumio and crackles all over the time….just wondering. Base is the same ?
And THE OLD COLORS OF THE GUI ARE NICER
Where can I change this?
Karsten
Yep, base is same… Got some minor updates, like a new kernel, that could be causing this…
Did you tried to decrease wsize and rsize? And also try to disable the hardware volume…
Let me know…
To change the colors, just copy the old Css folder to the css folder of the Webui. I thought these colours were better… Sorry you don't agree, what exactly doesn't convince you?

Thanks for quick reply,
Just will try the wsize rsize. Must read how to do this. Hardware volume is disabled.
The colours are a little bit to light for my eyes – thanks for the tip with the css.
Just another question: Did raspyfi supports ape? Volumio doesn't. My rapyfi didi it…could be because of installing upnp (gmrenderer).
