Hi!
Is there any way to disable and enable raspyfi without unplugging the power cable?
I know there is option to turn off device (then red LED is enabled), but how then wake up the device?
Thanks for suggestions!

There is a dedicated header for this on Rev 2. its called P6 short the pins and the cpu gets a reset, it should trigger the normal shut-down procedure of raspbian.
I dont know why that bloke in karsten's link didn't use it since he has the parts he would need for it and a compatible board.
The p6 header can also trigger boot for your R-pi.
Thanks Mates, I will think about it then, it seems to be worth to have it. I'm going to use it as main player usable by rest of people at home, so don't want to share with them "magic" knowledge – commands.

Ok, that's pretty cool. I haven't needed to reset my RaspiFy since I got it set up more than a month ago. It just works day in and out
What I'd be interested in doing is having a push button to turn it on/off like a regular appliance. Turn it on it boots up. Tun it off it does a shutdown sequence and powers down. I imagine guys using a Pi as an automobile computer are doing something like this with the ignition switch.

P6 is not enough. With this one you create a hard reset with chance of loosing data. P6 will not shutdown raspyfi – it's only a reboot. In combination with p5 (shutdown -h 0) you can use p6 for starting the raspi.
