I'm really happy with raspyfi. It came along just as i was discovering hifi as well as being too lazy to put a CD in my player. There is also the niggle of $1000 plus for a 'dac magic 6' So to answer your question 'I don't know' and I have no intention of finding out.
I have really enjoyed reading your forum with many contributors helping bit by bit and helping out to get the 1.0 release and now it all works I am still amazed at the much improved sound I'm hearing from raspyfi over my old pc.
So I hope this doesn't mean you are hanging up your solder iron just yet. All the best.
