RaspyFi + Raspian based NAS?

Hey Guys,
Has anyone has success pairing RaspyFi with a raspberry pi NAS solutions (like this http://www.howtogeek.com/13943…..ge-device/)
I'm thinking of doing something like that, but I'm worried about whether the low power can handle high fidelity lossless music formats.
