Hi,
I'm considering making a kind of raspberry pi jukebox for parties and was wondering if anyone knows if Raspyfi is the right tool for this job. What I am considering is a raspberry pi with no screen, only audio. It would have a powered USB hub for people who come to the party to plug in their usb drives (yes I'm trusting they'd only take theirs home) and for the pi to automatically grab the music and add it to the playlist. It would also be automatically randomised. This would ideally be controlled by remote (which I haven't looked into yet). Also when people remove their usb it would ideally update the playlist to remove the songs that no longer exist. This way at the end of the party it wouldn't keep the songs people brought with them as I don't want to stuff up my music library by ending up with duplicates or stuff up the playtime with people adding songs. Any thoughts?
