Wavelength Audio Proton – works well form 16bit/44.1kHz up to 24bit/96kHz
Arcam rPAC now functioning – so far up to 24/96.
However to get Raspyfi to recognise the rPAC, it is necessary to force the rPAC to boot as a USB audio 2 device (by default it's a USB audio 1 device in order to make it plug & play in Windows). To do that, press both the volume up & down buttons on the rPAC as you connect the USB plug to the powered USB hub, prior to powering up the Pi. On launching the web GUI, you'll find tracks will now play, press a volume button on the rPAC and immediately the output is audible (LED goes green).

I read that you have succeded to send music to your dac Teac UD-501 through USB port. I just purchased this dac.
I have a Raspberry board with raspyfi with the lastest released version.
I don't get any sound on the USB port.
Could you help me to configure in order raspyfi works with this Teac dac, please ?

I just purchased my Teac UD-501. But I cannot send music to my dac through USB output like you. I install the latest release V 1.0 of Raspyfi.
Could you help me how to do in order to connect my Raspberry Pi to this dac.
In /etc/mpd.conf file, I have this setting:
audio_output {
type "alsa"
name "Output"
device "hw:0,0"
dsd_usb "yes"
}
Is this setting is wrong or right ?
Your help will be very appreciated.

It has spdif also for those that want it. One slight drawback: it's 16 bit, not 24 bit, but sounds okay. Reasonably quiet running on the same dc power supply. Bargain at $9 delivered (expect to wait a bit for delivery)
If anyone has a Diyparadise Enhanced USB Monica dac, I can confirm that it works fine with the Pi and Raspyfi. Airplay and Webradio checked out(My USB drive is being stubborn so I'll check that tonight).
